Sheila's Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
- 3oz Caster Sugar
- 3oz Soft Brown Sugar
- 3oz Cocoa powder
- 1/2 Pint of Milk
- 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
- 1 oz Butter/Margarine
- Place all the ingredients into a saucepan and place over a medium heat
- Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved and slowly bring to the boil
- Boil briskly without stirring for two minutes until the sauce coats the back of the spoon
- This serves approximately 4-6
- It also tastes amazing cold the next day but remember to keep it refrigerated
- If you would like fudge sauce, boil the mixture for an extra 2-3 minutes.
