Sheila's Chocolate Sauce

Chocolate sauce

 Ingredients

  • 3oz Caster Sugar
  • 3oz Soft Brown Sugar
  • 3oz Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Pint of Milk
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
  • 1 oz Butter/Margarine

The words 'What you do...'
  • Place all the ingredients into a saucepan and place over a medium heat
     
  • Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved and slowly bring to the boil
     
  • Boil briskly without stirring for two minutes until the sauce coats the back of the spoon
     
  • This serves approximately 4-6
     
  • It also tastes amazing cold the next day but remember to keep it refrigerated
     
  • If you would like fudge sauce, boil the mixture for an extra 2-3 minutes.
