All good things (and all not so good things too)

The last Star Trek: The Next Generation episode was called 'All Good Things...' and that's probably telling you everything you need to know about this post!

Because after years of blogging, things are changing round here and this blog is sadly coming to an end. I'm sure you'll agree it's been a wild ride. We have had some fun. Occasionally the writing has even been worth reading!

But things move on. We hit our 20s and it's all shiny and bright and new and exciting. We hit our 30s and we wonder where our 20s went and things aren't quite so shiny and bright. Our 40s loom and we begin to think about mundane things like pensions, and whether our arms are supposed to ache to much after carrying shopping bags home from Tesco. (Or if your career kicked off in your 20s, carrying them home from Waitrose!)

I did read something interesting the other day, written by someone a decade further on than me. She said: "I have good days and bad days, but these days I'm starting to realise that even the bad days are good days, because they are DAYS, baby."

"They are DAYS..."

All we have are days and we choose whether to value them or let them slip away. I've spent a few days mulling over blog posts. I don't think they were wasted. I'm thankful I got to share them with you.
