Social networking has opened up a whole new way to snub people. I recently discovered that one of my old school colleagues had made friendship requests to everyone in my old form, except me.

Okay, we never were close friends, especially after all the jokes I made about ‘bum-fluff’ and moustaches. What can I say? I was an inconsiderate teenager, and Helena was a hairy girl. But even so, I’d have thought she would have forgiven me by now. Unless by snubbing me on Facebook, she has finally got her revenge.
