Happy Christmas
I've managed to get some time off over Christmas and today is my last day in the office. It's very hard to take anything seriously when you know you're not going to be in tomorrow. For me, the festivities have already commenced.
If I could have one wish for Christmas it would be that everyone would have a very happy time. I know it's unlikely to happen - a couple of years ago I was laid low with a severe bad throat over Christmas. I've got a friend who is spending her first Christmas alone after her husband died. Another friend was made redundant last week. Illness, bereavement and life's other crappiest circumstances may conspire against you over the next week or so, but I hope you do find the space for some happiness this Christmas.
I'll be back blogging in the New Year. See you then!
