The Pritt Stick drawer
The other day I was hunting for some batteries. I had a good rummage through the chest of drawers under the stairs where such things seem to end up.
One drawer contained about twenty Pritt Sticks. I expressed my surprise at this in no uncertain terms: “What is with all these Pritt Sticks?”
“Oh,” said Kath. “Yeah, that’s the Pritt Stick drawer.”
“We have a Pritt Stick drawer? Why do we have so many Pritt Sticks?”
“I think most of them are pretty much used up,” was the explanation I got.
I think I may have found a New Year project right there in the Pritt Stick graveyard. How many other neglected corners of the house are harbouring useless items? If I clear enough stuff I may even find I have room to put all my Christmas presents neatly away too!
