Long weekends all round

The bank holiday weekend starts tomorrow! Yey! If, like me, you work hard during the week, the biggest thing booked into every weekend should be relaxation.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t always happen! In the aftermath of moving house, weekends can often be taken up by unpacking boxes, trips up into the loft, and all the various errands that don’t get done in the working week.

That one extra day on the bank holiday weekend provides the perfect chance to get some serious relaxation done. I’m off to my parents’ house to chill out, relax with family and make the most of the beautiful coastal area where I grew up. Rain or shine (and let’s be honest, it’s probably won’t shine), my main aim over the weekend is to kick back and relax.

Busy-ness is just no good for our health, relationships, stress levels or quality of life. This weekend, take it from me… and take it easy.
