Christmas is coming...
Christmas is coming faster than an Olympic ice skater chased by a hungry polar bear. Last week I was moaning about being bored, stuck at home with a cold, with no energy to see friends or venture outside. But it seems the festivities have caught up with me! I’ll be busy every night for the next two weeks.
I’m really looking forward to all the Christmas dinners, parties, carol services and family visits. I love this season of log fires, mulled wine, and time spent with friends. But I know that if I’m not careful, Christmas will whizz by, leaving me to face a new year with a severe case of exhaustion and indigestion! So instead, I’m going to do my best to savour the moments.
To me, Christmas is about family, friends, and faith. So I’ll spend some time with those three, and not worry too much about table top decorations and perfectly wrapped presents.
