Spring Cleaning

Can you believe that it’s almost April? I feel like I left my diary somewhere back in January, and it’s been returned to me with a bunch of pages stuck together as a joke. It’s the only explanation I can think of for the lightening-quick passing of time.

So, April means spring cleaning. And since I’m not really a fan of cleaning and dust irritates my asthma, I’ve had to find another way to fulfil the task. This weekend I’m going to look at my finances. Scary, huh? But it scares me more that I have no idea at present how much I have in my bank account, or what I’ve spent my money on in the last month. I’m also aware that the ‘big six’ energy suppliers have now announced their respective dropping of rates, so it’s probably a good time to see if I should  switch. I have a sneaking suspicion that I’m paying more than I should be, and it’s my own fault for being to lazy to do my research! I’m also thinking about calling up my mobile phone provider and asking for a better deal…

It could be a very productive weekend. Of course, if the sun comes out, I’m likely to put down the receipts and go for a walk instead. But hey, it’s the thought that counts… isn’t it?
